The Big Day

Ceremony & Reception

We will be kicking off with an informal gathering around 2.30pm. The Ceremony will start 3pm, followed drinks and photo time. Please stick around, as we want everyone in the photos. Dinner (and yes, lengthy speeches) will start about 4:30pm. That leaves us plenty of time for party after! Dinner and drinks are all provided for.

Dress Code

Wear what makes you feel happy and ready for an evening of fun:) Wedding will take place on the beach and some activities on the grass. No shoes required. Skinny dipping at end of evening strongly encouraged:)

*If this is too vague, Meagan will be wearing a summery wedding dress and Mike will be wear shorts and a shirt with no shoes. He thinks he’s wearing an Elvis costume… if this happens, Meagan will be looking for a stand-in (yes I know it goes against the dress code to judge! 😉 )

Photos

We will have a professional photographer to capture our special moment, so please keep your cameras in your bags during our wedding ceremony – we promise to share!

Weather

No worries, it pretty much only rains during the rainy season in Pemuteran, and guess, what, that’s not during our wedding! For more details on weather, see the ‘About Bali’ section.

Gifts

Please do not bring or buy gifts. Having you come to hang out and have a great time is Bali is more than enough (cheesy but soooo true! )

If you are not attending and would really like to gift us something, you are welcome to contribute to our hot tub fund. We have heard they save marriages, so we are preemptively looking at investing 😉
